Hassle-free Service
We provide you with a confirmation of booking and payment document for you to take to Spain. The price you pay is all inclusive of all fully comprehensive insurance and a load of other benefits including theft and collision damage, unlimited public liability cover for all drivers, all taxes, no extra charge for a second driver and a 24 hour emergency back-up service.
As you leave the Baggage Hall you will be met by a Niza/Marinsa representative who will have a board prominently displaying your name. He or she will then direct you to a courtesy bus just outside the Arrivals Lounge. The courtesy bus takes you on a short (2/3 minute) journey to the Niza/Marinsa main depot on the edge of the airport. Here all you need to do is show your confirmation to the booking clerk, give the driving licence details of the drivers of the hire car, leave a deposit for the petrol, jump into your car and start to enjoy your holiday. Returning the car is the reverse of this procedure.

We cannot therefore guarantee the supply of a particular make or model.The vehicles shown in the above table are examples for guidance only and may be substituted by our suppliers for similar (or upgraded) vehicles at no extra cost. For this reason we normally accept bookings by Group or type
Note: We give a further 10% discount on the above prices for single bookings of 28 consecutive days or more.
Child Seats and Booster seats are available for all vehicles at a nominal cost.
To Book your Car Hire
- Simply request the Car Hire Booking Forms when you book your Apartment or Villa.
- Complete the Booking Forms, retain one copy for yourselves and return the other copy to us.
- Only send the payment for your car hire when you send the balance payment for your apartment or villa booking.
- We’ll then send you the pre-paid voucher for you to give to the bookng clerk at Niza/Marinsa at the Airport.

Espanihols Car Hire Terms & Conditions
Prices
Our discounted prices are fully inclusive and apart from the cost of petrol and, if applicable, a late arrival charge, there are no hidden extras. However, traffic and parking fines and towing charges, if incurred, are to be paid for by the hirer. In the event of a cancellation, or amendments to a booking once it has been made, we reserve the right to make a small charge to cover our administrative costs.
Split Seasons
If a booking falls over two seasons the price is determined by the start date no increase or reduction applies.
Late Arrivals
Our supplier’s airport depot is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week but for arrivals between 22.00 and 08.00 hours, in common with all car hire companies operating at the airport, a meeting charge of £10 is levied. This is a one-off charge and does not apply to departures during these hours.
Rental Period
The minimum rental period is 3 days. Rentals under 7 days are charged at a daily rate of one fifth of the weekly rate. If vehicles are returned more than 4 hours after the start time then the hirer will be charged an additional day’s rental.
Second Drivers
Second drivers are free of charge. Any additional drivers will be charged at £1 per day for each driver.
Child Seats
Child seats can be supplied for infants between 12 months and 3 years at a cost of £2 per day. Maximum charge £12 per booking irrespective of duration. Booster seats are also available. Seat belts and child seats are a legal requirement in Spain. For security reasons child seats must be fitted by the parent or guardian.
Insurance
Insurance includes unlimited Public Liability cover for the driver/s plus fully comprehensive cover for the vehicle including theft and collision damage but excluding tyres and wheel damage or loss of car keys. Personal Accident and personal effects carried in the car are NOT covered but are usually covered by the hirer’s Travel Insurance Policy. Important. The insurance becomes invalid if anyone whose name is not on the contract drives the vehicle, if the vehicle is loaded with more passengers than their stated capacity, or if the driver/s are found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Insurance also lapses if non-4 wheel drive vehicles are taken off-road.
Accidents & Mechanical Problems
Should you be involved in an accident this must be reported to the local police and a signed police report and full details of any third parties must be obtained. If this procedure is not followed then insurance compensation will be invalidated. Any accident MUST be reported to our supplier, Niza/Marinsa, when the vehicle is returned at the end of your hire. Should you experience any mechanical problems with your hire vehicle this should be reported as soon as possible (and in any event within 24 hours) to our suppier, Niza/Marinsa, whose telephone number will be on your contract.
Drivers
All drivers must be over 21 years of age and have held a full driving licence for over 1 year. There is no upper age limit. All those intending to drive) even if only in an emergency) must produce their driving licences and have their names recorded on the hire contract with our supplier Niza/Marinsa.
NB. Notwithstanding the terms printed on the Standard Hire Contract the above insurance terms and conditions, which are much more advantageous to our clients, will apply to ALL bookings through Espanihols/Malaga Car Hire.
